The 18th hole dredging project is complete! They are always looking for ways to improve the playing conditions at The Ferncroft Country Club and this project was one of the more interesting ones to watch. So it prompted me to take some pictures and shoot some video. Not only does the entire area look fantastic, but the capacity of water volume has increased substantially. This is great news for both the water supply and the quality of water that will be sprinkling on the fairways. The grass is going to love it! The wildlife will enjoy the clean, fresh water supply too! I can’t wait to see the Great Blue Heron return. He’ll eat a little better this year now that he will be able to see his dinner a bit more clearly. Bon appétit!
